How do we explain the gospel to children in an understandable way? How do we explain to them that they need a Saviour without watering down the details? How can we hold their attention long enough to explain the content of the Bible? How can we be precise while recognising that they need simpler explanations?<\/p>\n

\u201eThe Lamb\u201c is a book for children aged five to ten. With its colourful illustrations, this picture book takes children on a journey through the heart of the biblical message. Starting with the creation of the universe, the book explains key biblical concepts: Who is God? What is God like? What is sin? Where does evil come from? Why do we need a Saviour? The book concludes with a clear explanation of Jesus' identity and his marvellous gift as our Saviour.<\/p>\n

The book establishes a clear connection between Jesus and the sacrificial lamb of the Old Testament. Topics such as death are dealt with honestly and directly. The vivid details of salvation history are treated sensitively, but not watered down. At the end, the children learn who God is and what he did for humanity on the cross. It is a message of hope that every child should hear.<\/p>\n
